Apple Core done

My apple core is done (without binding yet). I nearly messed up cutting pieces for the outer edge. I made the 1/2 apple core pieces and ended up happy with it. It looked really puckered and I chose to just do scrolls on it. The scrolls took up and fixed any puckered look to the piecing. I am pleased with it looking flat and square. I stitched the scrolls so that the stitch line went thru any tiny pinched spot on the pieces and it completely "fixes" the spot so that is no sign of a pinched stitch.
